The Red Sox are members of the Greater Philadelphia Men's Adult Baseball League and head into the 2008 season hoping to improve upon a difficult third-round playoff lose to the Blue Rocks in 2007. The Red Sox experienced a change in management during the off-season as longtime player/manager Jason Hale stepped away from his management role with the team. In his first season as Manager for the Red Sox Brett Hiett will continue the Red Sox tradition by building a strong team around a core of returning veteran players with hopes of making it to the GPMABL Championship in August.
The Red Sox continue to morn the loss of teammate and friend Don Peterson. Don was a tremendous teammate, a great friend, and a wonder father to his son Aiden. The Red Sox will continue to honor Don during the 2008 season by wearing a #20 patch on our uniforms.
Donald R. Peterson (#20) April 18, 1978 - January 25, 2007
